流水帐 那可是我一星期信用卡的帐........ 1 则，收到之前apartment的清算单，还以为可以将押金取回，怎么知道那被扣完后，还欠500刀....令偶好是不爽，于是乎给Better Business Bureau写了complaint，给apt的总管理公司发去dispute letter，帐还在negotiate 中。。。 2 呢，一直都没怎么打开vitoria secrets寄来的信件，这回一打开才发现欠它们100多刀....好无辜啊～～一月在那里买过东西，当时收银员给我开了个member卡，偶以为她charge了我当时给她的信用卡. 怎么知道....结果financial charge 一直滚到了那么多。愤愤不平D给credit collection的bank打电话。“i want to talk to your manager" 未果,然后继续 “your senior manager pls!" 最后以我方说要file a federal case， bill 最终给降了下来并一次解决! 我.....还是老老实实地只拥一张visa好了~_~ 3~，就是去换前面2个轮胎, 工作人员没一会就跑去等待室跟我说，你的前面两个brakes磨损得很严重,要换，要不然很危险。并把费用给我看--500多刀~~~~汗！我问他那两个brakes还能撑多久，他说可能一个月，也可能一个星期，说不好明天就坏。。这人家真会做生意。。我一着急就会water eyes...看我一急，技术人员就跑去跟老板叽里呱啦说去了....最后200多刀拿下来了~`原来那位技工跟那老板说不收我labor fee...感动啊，虽然被宰得很痛！ 哎～唉～～life is too expensive if we don't realize that we have the right to negotiate V_v~ 夏天的教训 爱白的MM不要学我这样的白@#$%^&8 打户外水上排球一定要摸防晒 是摸哦～ 不是喷！ 要是喷的话...后果自己照镜子吧。。。 黑成一团`就像现在的我...在水里热战了3小时.... 喷的地方确实把sun blocked 掉了 只因是喷的--不均匀！ 就成一团一团的啦...V_v~~ Yanni Voices Yanni Vocies 不得不赞一下.....是我听过的concerts里面最让我impressive的！买票时差点买错了在LA演出的那场，还好达城的要早些而且拿了个好座位～还是比较开心D~ 手与心在这里分享那一刹那的感觉.....
昨晚, 足球赛开始前一歌手唱起了美国的国歌，赛场里的几千人都站起来，我也毫不例外. 但是当我也把右手贴到我的心胸时，我却没有旁边的观众那么自然。也许那歌并没有进入我的心......
想起了我们的国歌，想起了那份肃立...也许我想家了～
碰巧在球赛中，一高中同学给我打电话，晚上回家回了他的电话，聊了很多，很多～～一起分享各自在米国的种种体会......
虽然手触不到那寸乡土

storyToday I went to the International Toastmaster Club during lunch time at work. The story from every speaker impressed and inspired me. I realize I have been living in a nut somehow since I have been always thinking about how special myown stories are. By actually, everyone has its own beautiful story, itsn't it? The way we think impacts the way we act and the way we deliver our message influents the perspective of our audience. After all, our experience shapes the one who we are today. I feel grateful at this moment with who I am even though there is way much uncertainty down the road......... want one more spring break大部分同学，朋友都飞到某个角落去& 室友回国，过他们的break了～ 鉴于偶1月才流浪过，so就不远行奢侈去了`～` 对于过惯群体生活的我，还是不能一个人呆着di
于是，待这边所有的周末活动结束后，偶跑去奥斯丁耍了一周
其实往那跑了很多次了，该去的已经都去了；至于那些没去的，这次还是没有去，而是真正的过春假去了
每天一半时间睡觉
另一半就是休息

他说，其实经过裁剪和包装的这束花已经失去了它原来的芬芳

她也知道，不能强求完美
可是她还是拒绝了继续接收那些鲜花的唯美
其实，不是那些花，那个人--其实他们都很美，很美...
而是她，还在寻找她内心中期待的那份美 小聚晚上四人小聚，话题还是那些，总离不开order buffalo wings 和他们的beer, 一举畅谈......也许不同的是渐渐多了几分离别之愁. 没有离开就已经怀念我们的potluck party，12个来自不同国家的人的游戏........很多很多我们想一起去做的事情....... Movies Weekend忙了两个星期，这个周末终于可以透口气～
昨晚下班拉了同事去看了《TAKEN》，Action 偏多，总共90分钟的样子，但是剖去演播前的commerical 的话，可想而知片子真的好水啊～不过有些情节蛮像James Bond里的～男主角很有男人味，想了半天才想起女主角在<LOST>前两季里出现过......
今天一个朋友in town，午饭过后，无聊～又去看了一场～《Push》。要说的是，这片子大部分是在香港拍的，男女主角都比较赞哦。片子很诡异，不过把香港的很多
文俗都特写出来，比如渔船，念堂，禅，夜总会，豉油，还有虎头彪铁打酒的logo～～看得我那个亲切啊～～
明天，我想去看一场3D的 >_< 这个周末要把电影进行到底 ~_~ 一点一滴车门窗被那个边框上开始脱落的带粘上了无数的斑点。我试过用水和其他试剂擦都清不掉，也就只好视而不见了。因为快要开长途，今天就痛下决心清掉。以为自己的小聪明，可以一劳永逸，怎么晓得.......抱了一大瓶去甲油，开始擦啊擦。。。那工程不像清指甲那么简单，眼看油都快用完了，还是那么多点点在那上面。笨笨的我，最后也只好乖乖地一点一点地擦掉........
很多事情，就像这个擦拭的过程，也许有捷径，但当自己尝试去寻找答案的时候，却没有简单。而如果没有开始去迈出去寻觅答案，也就永远没有答案.......

Last year, I was in the flight from China to here. And this year, I partly in the flight again that day :) But so happy de la~~ At least, I mananged the west coast visiting and more importantly met old friends over those places.
Arhh...I forgot to make a wish that day because I didn't have a cake then :( hmmm....may my belate wish will come true la~~ Merry Xmas & happy new yearCan't believe it is already Christmas! The houses are lightened up by all the decoration! So gorgeous! Even though there is no snow here, the Christmassy is everywhere!
I'm hibernating at home for my first part of break and planning to go to the west coast in the New Year. It has been truly a break for a week. But I need the time for reviewing, thinking, reading and planning :)
Wish you all a merry xmas & a perfect year ahead ^_^ historical moment in the U.S.I'm not a big fan of politic and haven't followed up the campaign for a while. It is such an unforgetable election night seeing the historical victory in Chicago. We are so lucky to arrive in Chicago on Tuesday and living several blocks away from Grant Park where Obama's party at. That's how we saw so many supporters down the street last night! It was my first time to see this kind of election, as well as to talk politic with my American friends who became so serious at this point and who voted for their first time! Almost the whole nation got involved in this election! They screamed....cried......cheered...........not just for the result...but for the change. "Elections sometimes change America, and somtimes they simply tell America how it already has changed. Tuesday's election did a little bit of both. The election opened the door to the Oval Office to an African-American for the first time" (WSJ Nov.6th.) How this nation will be rebuilt? It will be an interesting time to see.......... GratefulThe energetic and passionate Wing is back to alive ^_^

See the doctor
Forewarning: don't get sick here and never be sick during the weekend, otherwise.......
I never expected that I need to leave the office in the middle of the day due to the pain and I thought I should be fine with more sleep. That was Friday and I went to bed directly after getting home and didn't realize that it became more serious at night. The pain reliever did help me the rest of the night but not Saturday. I...PD...PD...went to the Heal Center in school and sad to find that it was closed during the weekend. So I decided to go to a hospital nearby. But.......Wing is a dork at that point not knowing which hospitals that her insurance covers..... Worse enough, I got the answer from the call to my insurance company:" please call during our regular hour--weekday from....." Well, at least I could walk a little bit and there was no need to go to emergency room. I, again PD....PD.....went back home to rest. Lots of friends called up.....and it was great to know that I could go to Carenow clinic the next day. Generally, most of the insurance companies would like their insurants to go to this kind of clinic rather than to the emergency room if their symptoms are not threathening. Also, the cool thing is that you can Web-registe and they will call when the doctor is available. In this way, you don't need to wait there and see sth not that pleasant.
I didn't go to the clinic the next day due to the best luck that I had. Two of my friends are doctors and I met them on Sunday. Still, I needed to check with the doctor in School on Monday for further check. I laughted at myself with my friends......the time I spent with the doctors this week is more than the sum that I had for the last 2 years >_<
Anyway, I feel happy that those days are gone and the pain has been treated!
More importantly, the biggest fortune that I own is having so many friends around that helped me out when I ineed! Really grateful!!!!! StopI think I seriously overworked the past two weeks and I've finally hit the brick wall telling me to stop. I am not feeling well and will hopefully get better tomorrow, but for now I have to get more sleep than I have been getting. :( New recordAh........I break my record........
Now it is 5 AM in the moring.......I have stayed up for the whole night writing my report and final exam.......
Instead of sleepy, I am so starving >_< !!!
Need to take a nap for half hour and start my long day.............
A new friendMy colleague invited me to have dinner with her family at their house after work. I was happy to accept the offer. There are 3 kids in her family who are Bihan-8 yrs old girl, Brian 4 yrs boy & Price-10 mons baby. All are so adorable! When I got there, Bihan started played piano for me and I invited Brian to dance with me..... after that they brought me to their game room and shared their toys with me >_<
It's always lighthearted to be around with kids...the evening was going so fast......And it was time to say goodbye....
I was heading out while Brian run to me and said:"Wing, I like ur smile.....you are my friend" I almost could not believe that came from such a little boy, but I could strongly feel how sincere he was at that moment! I gave him a hug and raise my voice:" Brain, you are my friend, too"

Washington D.C.I finally had time to upload the pics on here. Back from Washington D.C. at Sat night, I have been trying to catch up all things these days……Ah……still need time to recover from the intensive trip………. It was a forever unforgettable trip all around. Fantastic somehow…….as illustrated in the facts below: Ø The purpose of the trip was to attend a job fair. Standing over 12 hours in the high heel shoes while wearing a suit, holding a resume folder and talking with smile was not that easy. It was a challenge of not getting frustrated by indifferent attitude. Ø Sitting at one corner of the basement at the hotel to get connection to the internet in order to search more information of some companies after midnight was not that fun. Another unfortunate part was sitting in front of the water machine which generated cold air that made me almost sick! --------------------------------life is not easy-------------------------------- Ø Lucky enough, classmate N used to work in the Senate Office. So we got a chance to have a tour in the Senate Office Building & the Capitol and met some Senator. Ø Thanks P for taking me to China Town for dinner and appreciate T’s accompany to walk around the city at night. I did have a great timeJ ----------------------------but we are not alone----------------------------- Back to the normal crazy schedule.....…while looking forward to next trip...... Happy Mid - Autumn Festival!Although I am not a big fan of moon cake, I badly want one here. I thought I would not get one today since I was told that it was sold out this morning in the Chinese grocery store. I thought it would be lower chance to have a clear full moon as the Hurricane Ike might ruin the night.
But.............
The moon is so gorgeous tonight. I nearly missed the green traffic light on my way back home when I was completely attracted by the sky >_<
Surprisingly, my roommate brought me some moon cakes! Sweet~~
Talked with my family, had lunch & dinner with different friends, worked out hard at the gym and studied~studied~~~
That was my day!
