Harvard panel explains and discusses economyTake a look at the economy in turmoil, fascinated and scared, isn't it? That helps explain why I get addictive to WSJ lately......But what drove the market to such a mess had been a mystery to me. Found a panel discussion tonight.....pretty helpful with discussion in depth....it is cited as follow:
Last Thursday a panel of Harvard academics from the business school, law school, public policy, economics, and more explained what's happening with the US economy, why, and what next. The 1½ hour program was videocast and is available at the link below.

Washington D.C.I finally had time to upload the pics on here. Back from Washington D.C. at Sat night, I have been trying to catch up all things these days……Ah……still need time to recover from the intensive trip………. It was a forever unforgettable trip all around. Fantastic somehow…….as illustrated in the facts below: Ø The purpose of the trip was to attend a job fair. Standing over 12 hours in the high heel shoes while wearing a suit, holding a resume folder and talking with smile was not that easy. It was a challenge of not getting frustrated by indifferent attitude. Ø Sitting at one corner of the basement at the hotel to get connection to the internet in order to search more information of some companies after midnight was not that fun. Another unfortunate part was sitting in front of the water machine which generated cold air that made me almost sick! --------------------------------life is not easy-------------------------------- Ø Lucky enough, classmate N used to work in the Senate Office. So we got a chance to have a tour in the Senate Office Building & the Capitol and met some Senator. Ø Thanks P for taking me to China Town for dinner and appreciate T’s accompany to walk around the city at night. I did have a great timeJ ----------------------------but we are not alone----------------------------- Back to the normal crazy schedule.....…while looking forward to next trip...... Happy Mid - Autumn Festival!Although I am not a big fan of moon cake, I badly want one here. I thought I would not get one today since I was told that it was sold out this morning in the Chinese grocery store. I thought it would be lower chance to have a clear full moon as the Hurricane Ike might ruin the night.
But.............
The moon is so gorgeous tonight. I nearly missed the green traffic light on my way back home when I was completely attracted by the sky >_<
Surprisingly, my roommate brought me some moon cakes! Sweet~~
Talked with my family, had lunch & dinner with different friends, worked out hard at the gym and studied~studied~~~
That was my day!
But............
Happy ^_^ Shopping(No Chinese input method in this laptop, just as no QQ in my world now......)
Take a break and entry sth here to keep myself up for the next couple of hours to finish the reading. Even though Lindsey and I had a great time today during shopping, we get a little bit frustrated by the fact that our trip just ended up with 1 pant & 2 belts....How long did we spend? 8 hours!!! I know that's way much of time. But I really need the things that I am looking for. I didn't expect I can find them though. So...never mind la.....Just miss those days shopping in HK and mainland.......
I'm some sort of homesick lately desiring to spend time with my family so badly and wishing I could be there with some friends who just have baby:)
