NYSE--Can not image how people work there all year long! Can not tell how strong their psychology and physical quality are! It was interesting that Chinese GIANT stock was the first time listed on NYSE when I visited and the specilist showed me how they trade in NYSE! GIANT jumped up to 33% that morning while most of other stocks sufferring bumping.....

CITI GROUP @ LONG ISLAND CITY--The whole picutre of Manhattan and the Queen bridge came to our eyes on the 55th floor of the CITI office!
Pictures will be uploaded later........ 爽约，很不爽本来跟好朋友约好周末回她Houston的家 今天却因为周末要参加在Arkansas的case competition，而爽约，现在心里很不爽 很希望能多给点时间家人及朋友,诚如当初的承诺 然而 选择。。。。 有时候 原来是那么的自私 不喜欢这种感觉。。。。。 我怎么那么能吃?!凌晨12点多，跑去Chili's,要了个Salmon套餐，一杯Mango Margarita,一个Molten chocolate cake 早上起来竟然觉得饿。。。汗死了~~ 瘦下的几磅又回来了~5~5~5~ Omaha一行 尽管从Omaha回来有一个星期，但此行已经被大部分人highlight出来。 所有final,mid-term,projects结束，entirely relax！！！ 这时候的Omaha有点凉快，但不冷，很舒服！机场沿路的小湖加上柔和灯光的点缀，一切都是那么的安详。 跟之前的trip不同的是，我们一起去餐馆，一起去pub，一起loss在Omaha downtown @ 2 A.M. in the morning~然后第二天一大早大家准时出现在酒店大堂。很多人说我们crazy，也许吧。我们只是一直在找work hard and play hard的balance~ 参观了全美最大的家具电器城，当老总给我们介绍的时候，发现那些课堂上学的东西开始make sense啦，see，至少我没白学哦～ 如果一个人站在门口的接待台前，笑着不怨其烦地跟每一位握手且说:"如果你有带书来，就放到这个篮子里，等签完后会寄回给你的" 你会想到他就是即将给你演讲的人吗？你会相信他是那位在各媒介频繁出现的人吗？你会相信他是世界第三富裕的人吗？至少我当时没有，至少大部分人都以为他是 普通的服务人员。他却是那位Warren Buffett~连拿lunch都跟我们一起排队等候。。。。 那是一堂我听过的最好的投资学课。 他对数字的敏感程度，让我们惊讶。回顾几十年的投资生涯，他可以准确地道出具体的时间和他投资的数额。回顾自己的人生，他又是那么的谦逊！更有趣的是他回 答最成功的投资是什么的时候，他答曰:"成功的婚姻以及成功地抚养下一代” "You job is not all about how much you earn, but how much you love it!" 去之前，大部分人崇拜的是他名下的头衔，拥有的资产 回来后，课上的讨论基本都是他如何做事和做人 也许这就是予教于行吧？！ 难忘之行！我喜欢～ |
